Got out at day break, dug 2 holes and the skies opened up and sent me to the truck. I was scouting a new site and I think it has potential. One hole was a piece of lead, the other held this piece of copper, a lid from something I think. Good luck to all. Art

Looks like the remnants of a hinge at the bottom. Looks old and ornate, good sign for future hunts.
