I decided to ignore the weather reports and hit the beach today instead of my usual late night ones. On the way down it was pretty cloudy and raining off and on but no lightning so we were off and running. There wasn't alot of people on the beach, the little rain squalls had run most of em off but a few die-hards remained. The first ring was some old looking costume jewelry. Rang up as a 10 on the Equinox and looked good in the scoop but you could see where the plating had worn off and the copper is showing.
The earring I got next has no marks on it and it tests to 10K. Not sure what the stone is but it seems to have a light bluish tint to it so maybe a weak aquamarine? The gold ring it pretty nice looking, it's 10K, weighs 3.3 grams and the little diamonds test as real so that was the score of the day!
The other ring has a heartbeat/EKG symbol and a heart around the outside. Maybe a paramedic/nurse ring or a love/heartbeat thing? Right after I got a quarter signal and dug a 5 Ruble coin with a Moscow mint mark. Dug a few Russian coins before but not one of these.
I was on my return leg and hoping to get some more good stuff when the next wave of clouds and rain rolled in and the lightning started. It wasn't much and it was a ways off but the lifeguards made the call and kicked everyone off the beach. I had to slog on back the last 8+ blocks to where I parked and call it a day but it was a really good one!
When I got home I saw that my neighborhood on the bay side had gotten even more rain and we had some flooding/standing water in the streets. Emma the Lab loved it!
Good luck all!
