Past TN postings say Spanish beach areas may require permit or are forbidden.
Do the research when you get there. Check with the authorities.

As I understand, detecting outside of beach areas is highly illegal and they will confiscate your detector and fine you. Hopefully someone on the site living in Spain will be able to tell you the exact rules. I would be very careful. Good luck with your hunts. Walt

Maybe I do need to look other countries that are close to Spain, if they permit MD

I've heard it said when hunting for shipwrecks that one dollar spent doing research can save $20 searching at sea. Perhaps nearly the same ratio applies to MD dry land.
