This old cane was my mother's; after knee replacement surgery 15 years ago.
When my knees and hips went baad, I inherited it
Been wanting a scoop all damn summer. Brought my old metal 'sketti strainer and the old cane down to the shop and asked the old man to hitch 'em together for me. Well, he rolled his eyes and looked doubtful.
That was 3 days ago. Look what he handed me this morning
He chucked the sketti strainer, and cut an old spade, attached metal, drilled holes,
and attached it to the old cane.
I'm happy works great

i'm sorry but paying $150-180 for a sand scoop is a ripoff... its just a freakin shovel with holes in it!
