Hey everyone. I didn't have any halves coming in until later today, so I thought i'd pick up a box of nickels from my "lucky" bank, on the way to the mall. It sure did produce...some weird things. A melted? dime (assuming post-mint damage), a 5 cent euro, a 10 year firemans pin, a 2002 PROOF nickel AND a off center error nickel? You be the judge. I'll post my halves finds later!

HH,
Cody.

Cool finds! I'm not sure the nickel is off center enough to warrant any increase in value. At lease i hope not because i've thrown many of those back into the wild lol ;D

Yea, it's nothing significant, but I figured I'd rather be safe than sorry. Haha. Thanks for the response!

good job on the proof!

That 2009 is a mis-aligned die. If you look at the reverse you will see it is centered. Very common, unfortunately no premium.

interesting finds. I found a 2 cent euro coin in a cent box just yesterday. :icon_scratch:

Very weird... I just went through a box of nickels and found...

2 canadians
1 russian coin of some sort
1 history channel club 1776 coin.

Congrats! Keep it up! HH
