RARE 14th Century LEAD Buckle test piece

As the title says, as far as I know this is the only one recorded. I put it next a similar buckle to the one that the mould was testing.

this is a very interesting find indeed . I have found lots of similar buckles over the years , I clearly understand now how those buckles were made .

you actually helped me solve a ? i had
i had a peice of lead i saved looked odd
then i found a lead button
this odd lead peice had a lead button on it unfinished 8)
they both are about the same size sept the lump has a button sticking out of it
