Nice points! The last one is what a lot of people refer to as "beads" but it's a fossil crinoid like the picture shows.

your bottom piece is a Crionoid fossil, alot of the times the center of the stem fall out naturally giving them the bead apperance, however some have been drilled out, i have a few examples where you can see the hole being concave prehistoricaly drilled, seems yours may be that was as well, hard to tell in the pic

all of these in this pic have been drilled, the one towards the bottom shows excellent patina that helps you see the concavity, again these pictured have all been drilled

Thanks Chong I like the ones you showed that you surely can tell they were drilled. Mine come from a field that is filled with these most are about an inch or 2 long. Thanks again!!!!!

Thanks frog I had never seen a point like that before and was unsure what it was They must be just in Southern KY and TN Have you found a whole one yet?
 

yes actually I have, all of the ones I have came from my shelter dig. I did not know what they were for a while.
they think they were used on Fletching on shafts I've read.

1AB!! would like some more photos of #3 photo.. i think your photos #ed 5,6 and7 are of a damaged and resharpend point, possably used as a knife. the pipe creek point only had one notch in all listings i can find. Terry
