Those aluminum tokens can be very bittersweet.

Some nights I sit by myself in a darkened room having a few drinks and looking at my shattered aluminum trade tokens. I find myself weeping often, and thinking about what might have been.

Most found in water survive a lot better than land. However it depends on what they are in, sand or muck. Too bad yours is so hammered, but glad it wasn't hammered so bad you couldn't identify it.

Scuba stold my thunder. A positive ID is better than no ID at all, regardless of condition. Congrats!

Congrats on pulling a few keepers from that permission. :icon_thumright: I'd grid that site in a few directions, leaving some time between grids so as to not destroy the yard.
