Here are a couple of intact ration cans I recovered from a hut site in Fredericksburg Va. There were a few cans and some bottles, most of the cans just fell apart but I was able to get two that held together. The first three pics are one can and the last two pics are the other one.

Can you repost your images with some scale and an image of what these were originally?

I can take some pics with a reference for scale. I have never looked for any pics of original ones, I would think that there is not much online about them as they were something that was quickly discarded and probably very few have survived. I was fortunate that these two were solid enough to excavate intact.
