Razor and fork. How old do you think?

Hi. Found these in CT farm field. As I'm a newbie, I don't know how to date relics yet. Any ideas how old these could be? image.webp

I can't help you the age of your items but I believe the piece you call a razor looks more like a buckle or adjuster off a pair of overalls shoulder strap or suspenders.

Yep, looks like a suspender clasp.
 

I find those stamped brass suspender clips at 1870s sites here out west. I see them to a lesser extent is 1860s sites. I do not find them very much in sites that date much later than 1880, the construction of them starts to change and the "Shirley" and "President" types start to appear and take over the market. Some of the guys back East seem to find the stamped brass decorative ones in 1850s sites.
