RE: Treasure Club's?
First off Please let me say this story: I am just starting out and like many other "first" timers, I was very happy just to find a few pennies in the front yard!! But here is something that was really great; I had found a old ring that I could not read at first as it was very dirty. As soon as I told my wife, she said that I must be the ring her father lost about thirty years ago, and when we did get it cleaned it was his lost ring from the Boeing company where he worked for thirty five years.
As my wife and I live at there old house with her mother it was a great find!! It was also great to give this ring back to her mother as her husband passed away about Eight years ago, so this was a very nice treat for her. At least now she does not yell at me for digging up her yard!!
Anyhow, I would also like to ask the members here if any of them have been (or heard) about this club:?
http://www.cascadetreasureclub.com/ There mailing address is in Auburn, WA but it looks as the meeting place is at Highland park which is very close to where we live and is also the same school that I went to for first grade!! If anyone has any info, Please let me know? I would like to join a club, but I see about three that I wish to choose from. As this is very close, it would be great if it is a good club.
