Real oldie today

I went back to the demolished church field where I found two mercs. I used a hoe to try and get rid of the stubble, up until a blister burst....ewww. So I took up my MD and worked my hard-earned section of field- nothing. Then the owner came up and said I was no where near the area the church was, so I worked an area flattened by tractors, a little less nothing. I got some more pottery shards to add to my pile and a first for me, a fossil. It looks like a fern and it made the trip worthwhile. I will go back before it is planted and try another section...

Those old church sites can be very good or nothing.
