Really unique find. Looks like to have been completed 50-60% then discarded for some reason. Thinking it was going to be a Frio or San Patrice type many? Thoughts?

Is it a half made point, or could it be a spoke shave?

Not sure, it really looks like a half made point though with the fine knapping around the right edge and the side notch.

I do not see a partial point, but I see the possible use as a spoke-shave on the bottom right corner, in the the first photo.

Not familiar with native american spoke-shaves. I guess this could be a possibility ??? . So I am assuming a right half of a point would not be fashioned in this way?

I am not familiar with knapping technique, just an observation on what this looks like.

It's a possibility that that right edge was also used for cutting or scraping an object. Most likely in working on the manufacture of an arrow shaft.

I don't think it was going to be a point.

I am with zim on this one, it's a good sized spoke shave. What appears to be a notch, could possibly be a smaller spoke shave, or just incidental. It doesn't appear to have been a halfted tool imho.

OK thanks for everyones opinion. After looking at more pics. I think yall are right, its a spoke shave. Even cooler!
