Recent Finds - 'Tumbled' Brass
Just thought I'd post some before & after pics of a couple of pieces I finished tumbling today!
I tend to tumble any of my finds that look rough after a wash with soap & water.
I feel tumbling helps to preserve them and makes them more interesting for display and as conversation pieces.
I don't tumble anything that might have a 'historical value' or that's considered 'rare'.
Let me know what you think... should I be tumbling or just leaving them as they come out of the ground?
