Recent ring finds...Gold, Silver, Siladium???

Last couple of trips to the lake produced several rings including a mans 14k wedding band with three stones and a small sterling beauty.Also found a couple of clinkers as well as a couple of "odd" metal rings.The classring about knocked me over when I pulled that honkin thing from my scoop.Thought it was white gold, but with alittle research, I discovered it is Siladium....Artcarveds lower end class ring material...similar to stainless. Pulled the heavy band shortly after the class ring and .....no hallmark? Hit like gold , but Im thinkin its similar to the classring...stainless??
Anyway, ...Ive already made contact with the mother of the boy who lost the classring.Im mailing it to her directly.....She didnt even know he had lost it.

I never heard of siladium, but then again I never heard of a lot of other things either 

That is the sweetest feeling, pulling up the scoop and seeing a ring rather than a pull tab.

Nice haul of rings. I found a class ring about a month and a half ago. Like you, I thought it was white gold. It was marked with CEL. It turns out it was a metal called cellestrium also similar to stainless. That was the first time I had ever heard of it. You learn something new everyday. I returned the ring to the young lady a week later.
