Hey hey diggers!
It's been a hectic spring with lots going on...but getting in some digging too!
I got in a few hunts in the last week or so with some decent finds and had couple of firsts along with some old favourites.
First up a watch winder with a glass jewel in it! I've seen them dug up in vids but to find my own...outstanding !
Next was a Seated Quarter...we dont find many of these up north here so it was something that had to be shared.
Another first! A cool little coin from Sweden..
1/12 skilling from 1808...small farthing sized coin...pictured with Royal Navy button circa 1790s and early British militia button 1830s ish.
How about a livery button....Easily identifiable..
Adair family. One of my nicest liveries!
And finally...what is detecting without copper coins !
A few old tokens from pre confederation and a Canadian cent that been heavily clipped!
Still lots of time to get over some more amazing finds from our past before the crops are reaching for the sky.
