Some tress had been cleared in an area that was pretty hard to get through...didn't know what I'd find, but it wasn't much. I was glad to find anything, though, since it means that not too many folks have been detecting out here, but not too many people were here in the old days either it seems like (the clad and bike part were found near the road). Might be some good spots here and there, maybe.

Always good to get out and scout around...never know what you may come across..... Any history about that specific area?

It's very well-known...downtown Houston (Camp Logan / Memorial Park)...been hunted to death, hence my interest when they do some clearing.
