Hello, all. I've attached a few pics of some of my own personal diecast cars that I was able to recover after them having been buried some 30+ years around my property.
I currently live in the circa-1897 home that I grew up in. I always had thought that if I just had a detector, I'd be able to find some of my long lost Matchbox cars, as well as maybe some other relics from our time spent here. While tilling some of the yard recently, I found a 1920 merc. Had never really occured to me to hunt for coins here, before then. Anyway, I went and got a Bounty Hunter 202 at Walmart. Not only did I find the cars pictured, but I was able to find 3 pre-1900 indian head pennies, another merc and a World War I era infantry collar badge. The TootsieToy cars would have been from the previous owners.
I've since returned the detector, with the notion on getting a better one soon. Can't say I've had so much fun in quite some time!
Thanks for looking!
