Recovering Relics Episode #18 - "Metal Detecting - The Few. The Proud."
Today I went out to go metal detecting in my yard again. First though, I went to an area with lots of charred wood and broken glass near the back woods and I sifted the dirt to look for bottles. I ended up finding a marble. When I went metal detecting, I found some memorials, 4 in my driveway/walkway, and 2 clad dimes. I missed silver on one of the dimes by 1 year! I also found a rooster head. The best find of the day though, was a USMC pin.
