Recovering Relics Episode #21 - "Metal Detecting My Oldest Coin of 2010"
http://recoveringrelics.webs.com/ - Metal Detecting With Recovering Relics - Today I had a chance to go check out my new metal detecting site. It is an old foundation, a big foundation, and I just got permission to hunt it today. I was there just looking around and I could tell the place was untouched. There was an insulator attached to it's phone pole. I also found and took home a Draft Door from 1897 laying right on top of the ground. I went metal detecting in my back yard again, and I found some really old coins. I found a 1959 Lincoln Memorial Penny, one year away from a Wheat Penny. I also found a 1946 Jefferson Nickel right on the side of my driveway only a couple of inches down. I had a great day metal detecting!
