Recovering Relics Episode #25 - "Metal Detecting - First Hunt of The Summer"
Today we went to a pond to go fishing and metal detecting. My dad and I were unsuccessful at catching any fish, while my sister caught ten fish! I did go metal detecting there. I was digging everything that came up on my metal detector, so I dug a lot of trash; tin foil, pull tabs, scrap metal, etc. I did though, manage to make some nice finds! I found 11 zinc pennies, 1 nickel, and a part to a spoon. Right next to the spoon I found a pewter pendant that says, "Pilgrimage 2000 A Celebration of Faith" and on the back, "Genuine Pewter". We had a fun day!
