Red Sox Pocket clip on Enblem ?

I found this yesterday at a good site amongst Indian Heads , Merc , Barber , and seated coins . I have not dug any modern clad from this area and the pin was about 5 inches down . I am wondering if anyone has come across one of these ? The B with the wreath around it ! Could it possibly be from their 1915, or 1918 world series championship years I can find nothing similiar online yet ?? MaineRelic

As a fellow New Englander I hope it turns out to be Red Sox related, but I notice differences in the B that they used: Boston Red Sox Logos - American League (AL) - Chris Creamer's Sports Logos Page - SportsLogos.Net
The tail at the top is split, and it doesn't seem to have the, er um, protrusions at the fronts of the round parts

It's not one from the Bruins, Braves, Celtics, or Brooklyn teams either. Pretty cool looking badge though. Is it made of silver? Looks in awful good shape to be aluminum or pot metal and buried for any length of time.
