I spent some time at a local with my trusty 5gal, Scoop Shovel and 1/4" Classifier. The location has a narrow 12" slow moving creek/stream channel that I started working about one month ago, when I took home my first samples. I found that bringing home soil samples from the location helps a lot in the search for gold. Another big factor is identification of what your picking up and conservation when out there prospecting. I brought home about 2 gallons of material and of that is approximately 30-40 smaller stones. This one stuck out immediatley after searching through only half of my finds.
