Quick trip to the grocery this morning, scored a 1939 wheat, and some other crap, ok keepers, whom I kidding?
Who in the hell runs razor blades through a coin counter?:dontknow:

At least they were covered, and now I got 3 fresh blades for my utility knife.

Just shows how small objects can be tossed into a coin jar or can and forgotten about. Good to know you weren't hurt, and it always pays to look before sticking a hand into one of these machines. What if a young kid had been the finder instead of you? It's a good thing you were practicing safe civic minded behavior to help keep sharp and round swallowable objects out of the hands of youngsters. Nice finds by the way!

You might need to start wearing your digging gloves when checking those coin star machines! :o

Wow,, what an idiot to put razors in a coin jar or dump them into a Coinstar

It's getting to the point where nothing surprises me anymore. What a shame.

crazy! I remember carrying those kind of blades when I was a stocker as a grocery store. Ending up in the coinstar is baffling.

I hope someone didn’t to it on purpose when they saw people sticking their hands in there. Everyone be careful!!

Glad you posted this. It could save someone from a nasty cut!

Nice finds, glad you were not hurt! :occasion14:

Nice blades-NOT!
But what's with cutting up our little buddy the Beaver eh, and the Bluenose? :laughing7: Both have a great amount of history up here, heck the boat alone just went through a $25 million dollar retrofit. The "Beaver" it's a must have for all mankind. You sir have two great finds-display them well-and your wife won't even be jealous of the nickel you brought home.

Glad they still had the cover on them! Even used after a Reno project (assuming not used for other reasons) they would give a nasty slice.
