Relic day today

[Dirty Digger Doug]

Went to a park today only to find someone had been there before us. Decided to search anyway and glad I did. Found a lantern center but the dial was missing from the wick control stem. I probed the hole and got another signal, it was the dial knob. It has P&A Co Pat 1.16 8&8 1787 on it. This is the oldest item I have found. Found a token from The Celoloid Starch Co., New Haven Conn. Found a bait casting reel made by Empire City. It still has it's wood handle on it. Next is a harmonica top plate called Up To Date, 20 Reed, Made in Germany with W. Honer inscribed on it. Plus all kinds of other cool stuff and a bucket of Gizmo trash. Whomever was there before me missed all kinds of targets.
