Relic Hunt - It was going to be a good day

So I was pretty excited today. I had permission to hunt some private property a little south of Picketts Mill in Georgia. Took off work, drove 2 hours out there with my dad, and was all ready for some buttons and bullets.

Unfortunately, I had my first experience with hot rocks. We gave up after an hour of digging. Quite the letdown, but I guess it is always good to get out there.
Sure wish my Tesoro Cibola had a ground balance. Full discrimination and it was still going off like crazy

no idea what type of rock it is, but they hit very strong. I have never seen anything like it. I thought my detector was broken at first
