Hello All,

Went out yesterday with my young son to a highschool ball field and came back with this funny penny sort of a thing; what is it? And also found this small 10k wedding ring, which came in at around 15 on my XLT and an 18k plated ring with stones. I'm glad I used a coin & jewelry program. Oh yeah, and plenty of clad!

Nice ring Cap. Would be easy to miss w/a little bit of disc. What's funny about the penny thing?

very nice, i'm still tryin to find mine :P

Nice Ring! I have a question there's another poster that found a 10k ring with his XLT and it came up at 55 and he thought it was a junk signal. What would make the different readings 15 vs 55? Just wondering.

Read the other post. I would think it would be based on the amount of gold the ring has. This one looks pretty thin, maybe .7 to 1 dwt but any gold ring is still a great find!

Great find. Gold early on is always good & having your son involved is just that much better. Hey Onion. Better look out. Got another" Ring Master" in the works here. Spotz
