Friend of mine bought a little collection to display with his metal detectors. He became a Garrett dealer at his Army store. I saw in the collection what appeared to be some War World I buttons, some Spanish American items and possibly some 6th calvary medical buttons. Included were some Gardner bullets and .58 cal 3 ringers. Those looked to be water finds due to the lack of patina.
I was stumped on what this item might be as the time periods were pretty spread out.
