Found a bunch of relics at a new site. Not sure what those 2 are. 5 large buttons. One of them a Tombac. Anyone know if the middle relic is a sword hanger? Kirk and Kyle found Mucho coppers. Kirk found a nice Milled Pillar 1746 Half Real. KGIII, 2 Draped Bust Half cents, Classic head Largies Coronet Largies Were found between the 2 of them. I was shut out of coins which is a rarity. I also found a Token that is from the Celluloid Starch Co. in New Haven Conn. The back reads...A great invention.. Present this check to your grocer...Get one package Celluloid Starch free or 3 for 20 cents. I believe it is from around 1905. I found one similar on Ebay selling for around 20 bucks. Made of brass.

Chris,
Nice relics even without coins. I saw what K & K found. It must have been "analog weekend". ;D :tongue3:
You need to let your nephews get a few coins once in a while anyways.
Hopefully that is a sword hanger.

Hey nice finds man.

I found the same exact tip you found at a old foundation here about a month ago. It was id as a swager cane tip used to point out sailors bad dress habits or to show locations on battle maps.

Mine is longer than yours but I see the wood coming out of the end of yours. P.A is a great place to hunt. The vision looks like a nice unit. Gonna spring for one next yr when they come down a few hundred.

I'll try and find the link to the finds I posted.

Thanks Doug it was an analog weekend. Those guys were hitting them big while their ancient Uncle was just chugging along.

Nice finds Chris. Kyle e-mailed me and told me about the successful weekend. Must have been a fun time. I found a relic like the one in your picture. I posted it on the what is it forum. Here's the post. http://forum.treasurenet.com/index.php/topic,117164.0.html
Thanks Evo...That one relic is most likely a Parasol tip. I was told this from a different forum.
