Went out to a old trail that is suppose to be pretty old and date back to the native americans and quick-silver mining era.

Found the following stuff can anymore tell me what they are and approximately how old they think they are?

The is the whole lot not including the 7 quarters, 1 dime and 1 nickel that I found:

Here is part of a horse shoe, its really heavy but not sure how old it could be

Here is half a plate for a tea/coffee cup, I think this might be modern, but I don't know

This is half of a square headed nail that I found, pretty sure this is old

Have know clue as to what this can be, maybe part of a door?

And this last thing is the weirdest of the bunch, it came up silver on the AT Pro. When I took it home and went over it with the AT Pro it came up between a 91-99, and with my X-Terra 305 it came up a solid 44, and ideas?

Thanks for checking out my finds, very interested in what others have to say about them.

The last is probably melted aluminum can, an unmelted aluminum can will ring in high 80's and 90's on my AT gold and the Pro is basically the same machine. The part you think is from a door looks like the base of a lamp also but I think you nailed it with door handle escutcheon.Square nail is old.

Hey angileri,

The half saucer appears 1890's to me. The maker's font is a lovely art nouveau style.

that chunk maybe a piece of pewter ive found similar pieces like that

Hey Ben be careful in the Quick silver mining area . It is a protected area . No detecting allowed in most of that area . I have wanted to hunt it for years now but you can be find by a Ranger .

Thanks Glen I will have to look elsewhere then.
