Found these on the old beach today. Interesting catholic necklace, pretty modern I'd presume with the chain type, but has 3 double sided pendants.

The coin object that is cut in half has me scratching my head, any ideas what this would have been?

The lavender beach glass piece was the find of the day. Worth about $20 to the right collector to make jewelry out of, but just so happens I do that, retail $60 wrapped in silver. : )

Thanks for looking!

I love the patina in the 1975 dime!

Nice run of oldies, looks like the stuff I dig, specially the old pendants, away's a great find, never do I find the chains connected. Also I'm amazed there is no silver coins with the items you dug. That is a great hunt I think!!..

I will be in Chicago this weekend (Fri/Tues), how are the beach's around Michigan and Chestnut, debating the 3 block walk and the flight there bringing the equipment. Worth the effort?

Cut coin has a skull and crossbones on one side and a treasure chest on the other, or so it appears.

Nice hunt! I like the dime's patina also, very cool.

Amazing how many of those pendants get lost and then found. Too many people losing there religion i think...lol. Nice finds.

Those religious medals are really cool

Thanks everyone!

OBN, up where you'll be is oak street beach, lots of foot traffic, but not a lot of older stuff. If you want pm me and I can let you know or even drive you over to the beach. It's challenging and it'd be cool to see a more experienced Hunter tackle it. There is sooo much iron I know I'm missing stuff.

After a storm the greenies are right on the surface. I've only found 3 silver coins on the beach, but a vnickel and lots of old stuff and old glass. I found a perfume stopper pat 1898.

I think you're right about the skull and crossbones, finally found my pirate treasure!!!

That's a cool find....And your right that Lavender glass is a rare bird!

I will get in touch once I get there..lots of Iron...hmmm that's good. Thank You..

Nice. I did not know sea glass had value. We have gotten a lot of it, my sister and I. Will have to find it and look it over.

Yeah check eBay for wholesale pricing. Look for red, blues, lavender and orange. White, brown and green will be your most common colors.

If I have any good colors I will send them to you. Give me time to find them.

Wow, mixed bag there!
