We had a lot of snow last winter and there’s still deep pockets in the Sierra’s. I was up at 8400ft yesterday and snapped this pic. That snow bank in the crevice is at least 40ft high.
Pretty crystal clear stream. What's it called? Reminds me of the country around Markleeville where'd I'd go camping sometimes when I lived in Sacramento.
Cool. Snow is still hangin in here but generally about 11,000, above treeline. If it was 8400 my whole town (we're at 9200) would be under snow and I could shovel that stuff year round, I guess, haha!
