This isn't a good picture, but it's the only one I have of my first find. The little point in the smallest frame towards the front of the picture was the first whole point I found at the age of 6 in 1965. I believe it is a Lamoka Point.

i remeber the day, i looked for hours and hours. months before i searched high and low for points. all i new was to look for broken dirt. i looked in the dumbest places now that i think of it. well anyway when i found it i ran like crazy to another man in the field to show him, he said yep thats a arrowhead, i said YYEEESSS!!!! aloud. the next day i tried a new field and i found 5 with 4 goods. boy did that spoil me, nothing for weeks

My first find was a great pestle just over 5 inches long. Was cutting out top soil for new city sidewalk with a bobcat. I completely exposed it and didn't put a scratch in it.
