In 2012 Hurricane Sandy swept many cars that were parked along the New York City shoreline out to sea, many never to be found again. This one was washed into a river that connects to the ocean. And so if you wait for the low tide, walk long and far and don't mind the mud, you can find it. It has seemingly laid undisturbed here forgotten for the past 8 years.

Disintegrating from salt water exposure and filled with silt it is a reminder of an event many have already forgotten. I am tempted to return with tools, open the door, and look inside the glove box and center console for potential artifacts that may have survived.
