Been doing ALOT of overlaying old arial photos onto Google Earth latley. Came up with at least four or five spots where old homes once stood.
Checked out one of those spots a few days ago and it payed off. I hit a VDI 49 tone and dug a 1955 school or class ring of some sorts. 10K there are no school names on the front but there is a marking " MURCHISON" and the N is backwards? Don't know if it's a makers mark or school? A search didn't produce to much info. There is a grade school inTexas but I am pretty sure that isn't it.
Also found this small tomahawk, I guess a kids toy.
