Well, first 3 bags yielded 5 War Nickels (42P, 43P, 44S/D, 45D), as well as that nice 1941D. Last 4 bags were better though ;-)

Another coin from Singapore:

Nice finds! These images are great. What do you use to take photos?

Nice finds. It's too bad Buffalo nickels had the lousy design for the date location.

Wow you search a lot of nickels man. That’s the one coin I just couldn’t get into searching. Very nice finds rosco

1913 type 1 design awesome find. those dont come up very often

1913 Type 1

Sweet!

I'll admit, I had to google that one. I figured just another no-date. Though, I do have to ask, even with that wear, how can you be sure its a 1913 type 1 and not just wearing on the "ground" area...

I'm a fan of each. Quarters are great with the variety, dimes are quick now that I just rim-search (do sorta cringe thinking I'll miss a proof but). Nickels I like cause I usually find an "instant keeper" (buffalo/war/foreign) per bag. Cents are by far my favorite, best odds of finding older ones, still like pulling wheats alone, and if all else fails, the toning alone can be beautiful as well.

Even the most worn Type 2 Buffalo will not show wear in the "five cents" part of the reverse. That area is simply too recessed. The raised ground of the Type 1's made the "five cents" part wear off just as easily as the date.

Check out some Feebay auctions for Type 1's with no visible date. They look exactly like yours.
