Although I took my sweet time in finishing, I have completed another box of pennies. The results -
Wheaties - 7 (1918 1941D 1947 1952D(x2) 1957D(x2)) plus a 1950 King George Canadian penny;
Copper (1959-1981) - 585;
Canadian - only 66 additional, including a bright and brand-new looking 1962;
Foreign - none this time (Darn! I was getting used to finding interesting-looking foreign loot)
... and this time, I had so many 1982's that I separated them out to try Immy's method of telling the copper from the zinc with a ruler, fulcrum, and a zinc penny for a counterweight. Total 1982's: 74 (!)
After I go through the 1982's and the Canadians, I'll come back and adjust my total copper count.
The 1918 is my oldest coin roll find so far. What a thrill to stare down in disbelief and see 1918 on that penny! Pic is included below. My Whitman folders aren't full yet by any stretch, but they sure are getting fuller and fuller!
HH all,
Bob
Update - the 1982 copper count is 64 (!!), so along with the copper Canadian, the total copper count grew from 585 to 696.
