return to 1830's homesite

Cliff Flynn and I returned a few days ago to a plowed field where a home once stood in the 1820-1830 era. We have found a lot of relics here over the last 3 years and this was no exception. Cliff started off with an 1831 large cent. A few days earlier I had found an 1832 large cent there. This time I also found a nice silver "excelsior" button from the war of 1812, my best jews harp, a rifle nipple tool, part of a trigger guard, a buggy spindle shaft, flat buttons, a toe tap, and other unidentified objects. It was a very good day. I haven't posted in a while but I had to share this.:hello2:
