Today I brought along my hunting partner Ryan and we hunted that dirt medium strip where I found the Walking Liberty half last weekend. I had a feeling that more coins might still be hiding there and I was right! Ryan found the first keeper with a 1944 silver nickel. About 10 minutes later I dug up a 1944-D mercury dime. Both of us had several wheat pennies and some clad as well. We were both pretty confidant that we cleaned out the medium strip so we drove over to a construction area in one of the many small parks in San Francisco. In the construction area I got a 1936-P silver quarter, a 1920's buffalo nickel, and 6 wheat pennies. It was a great day in S.F. Temp about 70 degrees, with sunny blue sky. And to top off the day we both found silver!
