I haven't posted in a while, just not getting out much thus not finding much lately. Returned to one of my spots that has dried up for me, but I always feel like today will be the day. After being skunked a few times here, I finally had some luck! Here are the finds: A Standing Liberty quarter with a date, 1917s. Only my second SLQ ever. Type 1 with the eagle on the back with no stars.
Also got an 1897 Barber dime, a 1905 Indian head cent, and some wheats: '24, '30, '35, '42 and '45. Found a small silver ring with some purple colored glass looking center to it.
The curse has been lifted! haha :hello2:

I love when sites that skunk you for a few trips pay you back nicely :). Great finds, especially the SLQ one of my favorite coins...even better when they come out in great shape! :hello2: HH

Very nice! Like the ring and silver coins,

Wow someone had a great day. Thanks for posting these great coins.

That's a great day out you had ! The SLQ is hard to find in that condition , and the ring may actually have an amethyst in it .

Thanks! I checked the ring closer after you mentioned that. It looks totally smooth with not cuts, probably just glass. :(
