Revere Beach find

I pulled this from about 4 inches down In the black sand. It's in the shape of a bowl and is ribbed. It has the number 18 in the middle. It measures about 6 inches across.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Holy cow batman. Is that a bowl? Can't tell Robin. Maybe we need to use the simplified electrolysis machine posted in another thread to find out. Come on Robin. Let's go back to the Batcave and build one to see what we have.

I'm working on that as we speak, I thought maybe someone would know the significance of the 18.

18 is in the middle? Middle of the bottom looking in.? Middle of the back of the bottom? Middle of the side?

Can you tell if the 18 is the entire mark meaning is it clean/clear enough around it to see that there is nothing in front or behind the 18?

the top pic is the inside of the bowl, directly in the center you can make out the number. Its on the wall of the bowl.
A date maybe?
