I live in Bucks County PA near Washington's Crossing and found this item. I looked it up on the web as it seemed hand-made. I found that the soldiers made dice from musket balls. When I found this is was obviously very dirty and I scraped the dirt off and cleaned it I noticed that there were white blotches which made me wonder if it had been painted. Is there anyway to know if this is actually from the Revolution? It was found in an area where soldiers certainly may have been camped. Thanks!
