Stayed home today to get some work done. Fat chance! It was so nice after the rain I went next door to do little detecting at an 1805 home. Owners are great and are always happy to see what I find. I have hunted the yard for 5 years and always come up with something every time. This time I took the equinox with a new 6 inch coil that I just purchased for the old plantation site I have been working. Check out what it pulled out of trash pile that I have worked and worked and worked. Can not wait to take it to my new site. For that matter, many other past trashy sites that I HAVE JUST GOT FRUSTRATED WITH because of the amount of trash. Pig iron on top, sides and below this baby! 11 - 1 (65).webp11 - 1 (64).webp 1880 was the first year for the Richmond Public Schools. I think my neighbors are going to love it.

Very nice find.:icon_thumright:

Wow, that's a great looking piece.

That is a really nice find. Congrats. My wife and I visit friends not too far from Richmond in the late summer each year and they have a neighbor that has an old farm that she lets me hunt. I have found some silver and cool relics every time we go. Can't wait until this summer again.

Beautiful person item! :occasion14:

That's BANNER worthy history right there! What a fantastic find! Got my vote!

Awesome find!!!

Very cool find! How big is it? Doesn’t look stamped sterling, but do you think it is solid silver or plated? Great find either way. Love the history and the little carvings everywhere. Congrats

That’s history right there! Beautiful piece. Congratulations.

Nice!!! Congrats!!!

Stunning! Love the personal Items. Well Found!

Dang, that is a really cool and beautiful piece of history. Great recovery!

That is a very nice find congrats. It looks like some initials are inscribed on the bottom?

Just yesterday I tried out my new Equinox for the first time. Going over an area I completely cleaned out with my Etrac, and I was amazed at what I passed over and didn't hear. I'm going metal detector poor, have 5 different size / configuration coils for my Etrac, and now I "NEED" a small coil for my Nox, because naturally Etac / Nox coils are not interchangeable. Very nice find!

Very nice. Congrats!
