once again being a bartender has its perks. on thursday i found a 1949 nickel in my drawer. now its tucked away never again to go into circulation with all my found silver and wheats.

And I think a bar would be a great place to find old coins. Sad to say, some people NEED to get their booze fix, and will scrape up $$ to get it.

I'm a smoker, and when I was broke in the past, I'd spend coins I shouldn't have. When I was a dumb kid, I cracked open proof sets to buy smokes. *bangs head on desk* :P

worked last night and pulled a 1940 nickel from my drawer. that's better than the '49. i always enjoy finding the older coins. seems like nobody pays attention anymore.
