Got out twice the last two days . Yesterday my son Carson and I hunted a older school field hoping for some deep silver . No silver found but Carson did find a 1957 wheat cent and found a 1919 large penny from England . I also found a cool old button with a skier on it . Then this morning , Monday , we hunted a school that I had not been back to in two years . Today we were hoping for gold ! After both of us digging a bunch of clad I got a nice +20 at 4 inches . This time it wasn't a nickel :hello2: but a sweet 14k GOLD RING ! It weighs 4.9 grams and is a beauty ! Looks like it has Mother Mary on it . Then the silver came :icon_thumright:. I had a +80 at 7 inches and it turned out to be a silver 1949 S Rosie  . We had a great time this weekend , lots of super finds :icon_thumright: .

Around $120 in gold, try to get the diamonds tested!

Hi Pl8, good score on the gold ring, and that English penny is outstanding. Definitely not the usual for our neck of the woods, more like something they dig up back East. Keep up the good work! :icon_thumleft:

Another great find. You treasure chest at home must be overflowing!

Awesome ring Glen! Gosh I missed out! Congrats !!!!

Interesting design on the gold ring. Looks like the Madonna on the front but horseshoe symbols as well. A catholic gambler perhaps?

This is the 2nd one I have found in three years . The first one is a 1915 that was at a school and was 9 inches deep !

OMG, you scored. Beautiful ring. Unbelievable coinage! I love the big penny. That little pendant looks like it goes with the ring. Is it precious because the stones match. Wow. You've got some hunting to do there!

Nice ring... I love the Britt penny too. I also dug up one two or three weeks ago here in Texas, beautiful coin.

Nice ring and coin for sure! Congrats!
Looks like the guy who lost it was trying to cover all his bases with, prayers and wishes, it did you more good than him!

The little pendent was found by Carson in the tot lot . It's only plated , but does match the ring .
