Well had the day off and schools are closed for the summer
. My son and I got out and hunted an older high school soccer field this morning . We hunted for about an hour and a half and found a bit of clad and some game tokens . I had found a ring at the end of the hunt but thought it was junk so no pictures in the dirt and in my pouch it went . When I got home I put it in the tumbler with the clad . After about a good 4 hours I checked on it and was very surprised to see how much it looked GOLD ! As I looked closer I could see a stamp . The stamp is a star in between two C shaped moons ? Any ideas ? Could it be a very low grade of gold ? Maybe 8k ? It didn't pass a 10k acid test but dissolved very slowly . The only other item found was an Asian coin . Total clad was $5.39 .
