"Ring around the Rosey"
"Ring around the Rosey, pocket full of posies, ashes, ashes we all fall down!" At least that's how I remember the childhood rhyme. For some reason, the picture below brought that to mind...except there is no Rosey!
This morning's hunt yielded 5 wheats, including 4 in one hole, and a 35 Merc. My suspicions of last week were confirmed; this site has given up an 09VDB, 1890 Indian and 1906 Canadian large cent. Given those characters, there had to be silver and I found it this morning. I actually found two caches this morning, and I wish I had my camera with me then. In the long grass, I uncovered a nest with six little rabbits in it; I had to be careful not to step on them after they scattered
. Hope to get back there tomorrow morning for more.
