Ring found

The weather was great and temps the same.
Went to an old unoccupied house here in Jamestown and found some clad and also this ring.
Not sure what it is made of or how old it is but it seems to be made from one strand of copper and two strands of brass interwoven. Also, the strands seem to be wrapped around an inner gold colored solid band. It was about 4" below the surface.
Any ideas as to age ??
