I picked this up relativly cheap because i thought it would make a good replacement for the walmart ring i married my wife with.

I havnt been able to identify the markings but i do think i know 750 means 18k gold right?

It's size 6 and i am going to see if they can turn it into a 9.5 but i wanted y'alls opinion first.

Any insight on value and composition?

By relatively cheap i meant less that $100 from a garage sale situation

With quality work in re-sizing and polishing, I am sure that you will score well with the missus! The ring is likely 18k White Gold with Diamonds and blue Sapphires. Without the weight, one could likely not come close to valuing the ring. The Makers Mark would also help in value determination.

The makers mark is in picture 2 and is the letters upper case B and lower case d inside a diamond.

as far as wieght goes i would have to find someone with a scale.

I took it to a local jeweler. 18 karat white gold is all they could tell me and that it was a European maker. they did confirm that the diamonds are real and quoted me $287 as their price to resize it from a 7 to a 9.5

I think that is too much, even with it being 18k. Check elsewhere . Many pawn shops have jewelers who can do this as well. && don't laugh,, many nice jewelry stores take their repairs to these pawn shops to get repaired !!
