wow - paying for the name - this ring I could maybe get $50 for
but look at its retail
my gal was at a jewelers and showed him some rings she was wearing that I found - he told her off the top of his head $1100 on this one
I did not believe it and looked up myself
Kay - Neil Lane Bridal Band 1/3 ct tw Diamonds 14K White Gold
so FYI - if you get a name brand and don't intend to sell - and keep it or give to your wife - know its insurance value

Yep, you get what you pay for and sometimes your paying for the name...happens with lots of things...cars, shoes, jewelry etc.

Surprise! Surprise! It's nice to get another opinion and estimate. WOW! :occasion14:

Wow I guess it's like Pandora my wife buys the knockoffs for a fraction of the price and no one can tell the difference

one ifund is not a knock off - its the real thing - just saying - it is only worth about $50 in gold
I probably would get more from ebay for the name

here is what you do:

1) have it polished and plated by rhodium
2) make nice pictures
3) post it on ebay and ask for $350-400

jewelers usually dont pay extra for rings with small diamonds, however they dont melt such rings, they repolish them and sell them for a "fair value" which happens to be $350 or so for this ring

Does that include detectors also?
